Description

In front of the right-hand side of the Sanctuary of San Domenico is Casa Marano.  It is a noble building with a plaster facade featuring windows and stone portals, and embellished with decorative phytomorphic motifs.
The main entrance way is a rounded arch with panels on the piers resting on finely carved capitals and with a key stone adorned with a large scroll.
Above it there is a transom with a mixtilinear frame with floral elements. On the wall to the right is a blocked-in stone arch, the base of which emerges from the rock of the hill on which the oldest buildings in the village were constructed.
